A couple of weeks ago I published my Christmas gift guide for her – and because I care about fairness on this blog, now it’s time to do the “for him” version! As I said in my previous post, tastes and opinions can differ. So think twice before buying something for someone – nobody wants a disappointed face for Christmas! And now let’s get into my 2023 Christmas gift guide for him:
Christmas Gift Guide for Him: Beauty
Who says beauty products are for females only? After all, this is 2023 – anybody can be anything! And having nice, healthy skin or hair really shouldn’t be limited to a gender. Introducing: the Brooklyn Soap Company. They focus on male skin and haircare and offer a variety of different products. My boyfriend has been using their products for a couple of years now, and I can attest to the fact that they smell absolutely amazing! And they pay great attention to the ingredients, using natural and organic wherever possible.
Christmas Gift Guide for Him: Cozy & Comfy
UGG Slippers
Nobody enjoys having cold feet. But those are a thing of the past with some nice, cozy & warm fuzzy slippers like these ones from UGG. I personally think they also look rather fashionable – as far as slippers go. And they are also great for stealing if you have cold feet yourself!
Snuggly Bathrobe
In keeping with the theme of being comfy and cozy, this cotton bath robe from Rituals would make for another really nice Christmas gift for him this year! I never thought of it much, but I gave my boyfriend one in his advent calendar this year (his old one had taken quite a few beating from our cats), and he was absolutely delighted with it! Especially now that it’s pretty cold in the mornings, throwing this over your pajamas before heading to the kitchen to make your first cup of coffee of the day is such a treat!
Christmas Gift Guide for Him: Workout & Wellness Equipment
Massage Gun
If the guy you are gifting something to this Christmas is into his sports or working out, a massage gun like this one from BlackRoll is an amazing gift!
Not only does it help with recovery after a strenuous workout, but it can also be used before hand to loosen or warm up any areas that tend to cause issues during sports. There are a lot of different models, shapes and sizes available, so basically one for any occasion you could think of!
Insulated Water Bottle
Another thing you always need, but rarely ever buy for yourself is an insulated water bottle like this one from FLSK. Whether the lucky guy in your life to receive this prefers hot or cold beverages, insulated bottles keep them at the perfect temperature!
I love to take mine to workouts because it keeps the water really cold. And there’s nothing worse than lukewarm water, if you ask me!
Once again, these come in a number of different sizes and colors, so regardless of your preferred style, you will find something.
Christmas Gift Guide for Him: Tech
Another thing we recently added to our home is a Bennett & Ross bluetooth speaker.
There are a few different models and styles, depending on the amount of money you want to spend and what you like. The one we got was this exact one, and I would most definitely recommend it! The sound quality is great and you can also plug in your phone or device directly.
The only thing to consider: this model isn’t rechargeable, but needs to be plugged in. So if you (or the person getting this) are planning to take it with you, opt for a smaller version.
I can’t say anything to the sound quality of those ones, but would be surprised if it differed much!
Christmas Gift Guide for Him: Accessories
Leather Work Bag
And here we have another thing that is frequently used, but seldomly bought for one’s self: a nice leather work bag. This one from Lucleon looks lovely and really well made. Something to last and last and last – no matter how many times it’s used. Leather items also often become better as they age – provided they are receiving proper care. A gift that keeps on giving for sure!
Woolen Scarf
Cozy winter accessories aren’t reserved for women only. Even though they would probably never admit it, men can get could, too! And even if they don’t, a cashmere or wool scarf like this Ralph Lauren one make for a great fashion statement!
Just be wary when buying any item made from wool: some people’s skin is really sensitive and thus they find wool itchy a lot of the time. So maybe ask the recipient how they feel about wool – especially before buying an expensive item like this one. Irritated skin is not something we would want to give to anybody for Christmas!
Classic Watch
And last but not least in my Christmas gift guide for him: the classic watch. Go for something timeless – if done right, a watch can accompany you for the rest of your life!
Opt for neutral tones and colors, such as black or brown (if you are going with a leather band), a creme colored background and classic gold or silver. That way you’re making sure you’re not buying a trend piece, but rather something to be enjoyed for years to come.
There you go, guys! Let me know if you found this helpful and what the men in your lives are receiving this year.
Lots of Love,
Lena
