I have recently gone through a little bit of a style change. Or maybe I should say, that I finally found my style. I have kind of touched on this in my blogpost about quitting all my social media, that I am finally growing into the person I am. About time at 30 years old I would say! And with that, I have also changed my clothes that I wear. I used to dress rather feminine I would say, especially in the summer, with a lot of long, flowy, white dresses. Nothing wrong with that, but if I’m being 100 % honest, most of the time I felt like I was wearing a costume. My outfits weren’t really reflecting my true self, if you will.
A couple of months ago, I had enough to be honest. I went out shopping one day, and spent more than I care to admit, to basically renew my entire wardrobe. It was absolutely worth it though, because since that day it has actually been fun again to put together outfits! And shouldn’t that be what fashion is all about? If I had to describe my style now, I think I would go with that “old money” aesthetic, but maybe a little more relaxed. A lot of shirts, some tailoring, neutral colors – all things that will never date basically. Now am I old money? Absolutely not, but who needs to know?

Casual, yet classy: all light colors for a hot summers day, made bearable by chasing light, natural fabrics.

You obviously can’t tell by this picture, but it was scorchingly hot that day! I actually prefer to wear something long sleeved on days like that, as it protects your skin from burning. Make sure it is a light fabric though!

Linen blend shorts – see above
Belt – see above
Sandales – see above
Bag – H&M (sold out, similar)
